As long as it's private companies like google or yahoo, and not the government that's regulating and interpreting speech and expression, I don't really see much to argue about. I know that you remember your Con Law class.

of course a private corp can regulate content it allows in whatever legal manner it wants. But the same chilling effect still bothers me - and I'd argue that the suits at Clear Channel, General Electic, Sky TV, Google (see China) and other have a whole hell of a lot more power to frame public discource by what they allow and don't allow to be aired, posted, etc than does the government
